From Michelin-starred kitchens to grandma’s Sunday table, it has always been about giving something to other people. Sometimes it’s a flavour. Sometimes it’s an emotion. Sometimes it’s a piece of culture, a piece of history.

A restaurant might be the only place where you genuinely try to give something good to people you might not even like.

I don’t want my kitchen to be compared.
I want it to be judged for what it is—whether it’s good or disgusting.

I can make one promise:
